The structure of the University Entrance Examination consists of two parts:
Genral Phase
- it is compulsory
- it consists of 4 common and 1 track subjects
- sucess in entrance examination depends exclusively on the mark got at the general phase (along with the average mark of the upper secondary education (Bachillerato)
Specific Phase
- on a voluntary basis
- it consists of track subjects related to the studies intended to be taken by the student
- it allows students to upgrade the final mark to enter university studies
