General Information on the University Entrance Examinations for over-25s
The purpose of the University Entrance Examinations for over-25s is to objectively assess the academic maturity of students to successfully pursue graduate university education.
The structure of the University Entrance Examinations for over-25s consists of two phases:
General Phase
it aims at assessing the maturity and suitability of candidates to successfully pursue university studies and their reasoning ability and writing expression.
it consists of 4 common subjects
Specific Phase
it aims at assessing the skills, abilities and aptitudes of the candidates for successfully completing various university courses related to each of the branches of knowledge around which official university graduate programmes are organized
it is based on 2 subjects related to the studies thet the student intends to pursue
Participation in the University Entrance Examinations for over-25s is available for those candidates who have reached the age of 25 before 1st October of the calendar year in which the examinations are held and who are not in a position to access directly through the ordinary procedure.
